MIG M50 Marmot - Medium Duty Cabover Truck

**MIG History:** Midwestern Industrial Group (MIG) Is a multi-national vertically integrated corporation specializing in the design, fabrication, and sale of specialized industrial/commercial equipment such as trucks, tractors, construction, and agricultural equipment. **Vehicle History:** The MIG M50 Marmot was designed and developed in late 1970's in the Midwestern Industrial Group White River design offices, located in Indiana, United States. The M50 Marmot is widely considered to be the first medium duty commercial truck chassis produced by MIG. Despite it's age, the Marmot is a rather modern vehicle designed with upfitters in mind. **Vehicle Equipment:** - MIG 4I125N Diesel engine - MIG 8A110E Transmission - MIG 24M Transfer Case - ZE Drivetrain Controller (8 speed) - ZE Steering Controller **Vehicle Specs:** - 1200kg (2645lbs) - 15000$ (Base unit price) - 50mph top speed (Geared down for better torque) - 300L (80gal) Diesel **Vehicle Operation:** STARTUP: - Battery Switch - Ignition TRANSMISSION: Transmission is setup as follows: Low Drive *Park* Reverse Transmission is automatically in park upon spawn. There is also a secondary handbrake that you may press. TRANSFER CASE: 2 = 4x4 1-2= 2x4 0 = neutral TOWING AND MAINTENANCE: Maintenance: The base model Marmot is equipped with a skidplate and bumper, making it extremely survivable in the event of a crash/accident. The truck also comes with a welding torch and fire extinguisher as standard equipment. The hood switch is located on the floor board of the driver side. The hood gives you access to some of the logic and the radiator of the truck. In order to get full engine access you must climb under the truck, as the skidplate obstructs most of the engine. Towing: The base model Marmot comes standard equipped with 8 hard towing points located around the truck. Due to the way the transmission is setup, you must leave the truck IN GEAR and put the TRANSFER CASE in NEUTRAL in order to tow.
