Positions on all physics, please.
This is the Pak 60, a super-convenient towed gun. Most towed guns struggle with a number of things, such as:
> Broken pivots on Low Physics.
> None or not nearly enough ammo.
> Tight gun elevation constraints.
> Small gun traverse constraints forcing you to turn the platform by the handles to get back within range of a (usually moving) target.
> Arrow button gun control.
Not here! I worked through all problems, blending electric motorization, mouse aim, and compression technology!
Working stuff
With "ENABLE BRAKING/TRAVERSE SYSTEM" on, the braking system locks the platform to terrain. A/D will immediately disable brakes and turn the gun platform using the wheels. It will slow down as the legs dig into the terrain, but'll never stop.
The thing carries 100 BC rounds in that 'lil autocannon drum.
The buzzer you hear is the gun entering a deadzone. It will not fire inside the deadzone.
This uses mouse aim. Use 3rd person to get a good look over the gun shield.
Developer note: Channel 3 through the towing connector enables brakes from the towing vehicle (push signal). Disable brakes from a button on the Pak 60.
Rides with the towing vehicle over terrain very well. Terrain tested on my Sd.Kfz. 43.
