Go to the settings, find desired thought, expand it, and adjust the value. Dont forget to activate the checkbox to apply change.
Apologies for not implementing a search function, I didnt figure out a way to make one, for now the list is just sorted (in althabethic order) to help you. Hopefully I'll add filters in the future.
Mid-game add/remove: both should be safe.
Impact on performance: seems fine, but didnt check with a lot of changed values.
