The StormRunner i1 Deluxe is a StormRunner i1 AWD that has been completely restyled from the ground up.
After sales of the original i1 plummeted due to the dissolution of a major oil producing nation in Meier, causing people to switch from fast, powerful cars to more efficient cars.
This lead to i1 production being scaled back.
After the oil crisis passed, the i1 was once again reconsidered to be mass produced again.
Customers had noted that the i1's front fascia, and basically everything else looked "less than stellar."
After many months of redesigning, and the closing and re-opening of many departments, the new i1 was ready.
The choice was made to equip the i1 with a manual transmission, as opposed to the one speed transmission on the original i1.
To achieve a top speed close to the first i1, the manual transmission had 8 gears.
After many destroyed transmissions due to over-hardened cast iron gears, steel gears were chosen instead.
Eventually, after years, the i1 Deluxe was ready to hit the market.
