Linkable Groups

[b]Linkable Groups[/b] is a universal framework for managing linkable buildings in large modlists. In RimWorld, linkables don’t scale well. Every building that uses linkables needs to explicitly "know" every compatible facility from every other mod. In a large modlist, this leads to a mental-break-inducing mess of missing connections and/or way too many xml patches to try to fix this mess. [b]Linkable Groups[/b] puts an end to this madness by introducing a central framework that handles linkables in a clean, modular way. Instead of every building having to list every possible facility, linkables are organized into groups, like "Cooking" or "Smithy". It’s a plug-and-play solution that already comes with built-in support for [b]tons[/b] of mods. It’s clean, it’s fast, and it ensures your colony runs efficiently - even if your pawns are still eating on the floor like savages. (Seriously, get some tables already.) FAQ [b]What about performance?[/b] This mod handles its logic at startup to ensure zero impact on TPS. In testing, it took only 1ms to patch in a lightweight modlist, and just 456ms to resolve 750+ missing linkable connections in a 1000+ mod setup. [b]Is everything interconnected automatically?[/b] Not exactly. All lists are hand-curated to ensure logical consistency. For example, while bellows from [i]Medieval Overhaul[/i] boost fueled smithies, they won't affect electric ones. Objects are categorized into specific sub-lists (like "SmithyNonElectric") to keep gameplay immersive. If you spot an interaction that doesn't make sense, let me know! [b]Can this be added/removed mid-save?[/b] Yes. This mod is very lightweight, and does not make any lasting changes to the game. So it can be added or even removed at any time.
