About Hiryu
Hiryu (JCG Hiryu, FL-01) is a fireboat operated by the Japan Coast Guard.
It is the largest fireboat in Japan and is capable of responding to large-scale maritime disasters involving oil tankers and LNG carriers.
It is also deployed with consideration for industrial complex fires along the Tokyo Bay coast.
