I’ve spent a total of ~200+ hours on this single build, since I’m fairly new to stormworks (~400 hours) I took this opportunity to learn as much as I could. I probably spent a third of the build time learning how to code all the screens in Lua but I had a blast doing so. I learnt so many new ways of optimizing my code that the first code I made became entirely obsolete by the time I had implemented another feature, this went on and on until I finally said “enough is enough” and was satisfied.
