Nap's Fire Service Ladder Unit
A simple ladder vehicle for Fire Service.
Able to operate at a higher height than the hydraulic platform.
Drive:
Turn on the Key
Press the engine starter.
W/S - Throttle
S - Brake
A/D - Steer
Please use W/S Trim and set it to negative for parking brake.
No gear.
Hotkey 1 to reverse.
Refer to Hotkey labels for lights.
Operation:
Extend or Retract support piston
-Control panel at the left side of vehicle.
-Press and Hold the Retract or Extend Piston Arms button to retract or extend piston arms.
-Press the piston up/down button to extend/retract piston.
-Press the deploy ladder button to initialize the ladder, engine will rev up to provide extra power
Connect water supply:
-Open the pump compartment hatch on either side
-Connect the hose on either side to water source. No need to connect both sides.
Ladder Operation:
Make sure the support pistons and ladder are deployed.
Climb up to the basket.
-W/S: Ladder Up/Down. Do not over tilt the ladder up. The arm may crash with the base.
-A/D: Rotate Ladder.
-Left/Right: Title Basket.
-Up/Down: Extend the ladder/ Move the basket back and forth. Switch function by Hotkey 1.
-Space/Trigger: Water Cannon (Toggle).
To retract ladder, follow this procedure:
-Rotate the ladder back to center position
-Fully retract the ladder arm and move the basket all the way back.
-Hold S to lower the ladder until it stops (at a angle)
-Tilt the basket all the way back. Do not over tilt. It will case collision.
-Deactivate the deploy ladder button. The ladder should return to horizontal position and engine rev return to normal.
*Ladder arm may sometime jam when extending/ retracting. Move it forward and backward a few times it should unjam itself.
*After switching the water cannon on or off, it takes sometimes for the water to react.
