454ss Challenge 6 - AshJRobbo - Hyperion HX806C
BACKGROUND
The Hyperion HX806C is a heavy freight locomotive manufactured by Hyperion, engineered for high-speed, long-haul freight operations on modern rail networks. The HX806C combines contemporary European design philosophy with extreme performance capability. Built on a C-C axle configuration and measuring 23.75 meters in length, this locomotive prioritises traction, stability, and power delivery under heavy loads.
Powered by custom twin 5-cylinder diesel engines driving a diesel-electric drivetrain, the HX806C is designed to deliver exceptional hauling performance while maintaining precise control at speed. Dual driving cabs provide operational flexibility for complex freight routes and yard operations, making the HX806C a versatile and formidable mainline freight platform.

INSTRUCTIONS
- Choose the cab, front or rear and turn the overhead master key this will enable the selected cabs controls and handle the correct lighting colour for the day time running lights
- Turn on at least one of the locomotives engines going left to right on the overhead switches to enable the fuel pumps, cooling pumps and cooling fans before starting the ignition the process is the same for the other engine
- Most of the main controls are in view of the windscreen.
- For ease of use the breakers on the power board are enabled by default but you can edit them off in the editor if you prefer to enable them yourself
There is current no seat controls because I just don't like how the pilot seat looks with the aesthetic of the cabin but if there is enough desire for it I'll add it in as I'll admit it does make it easier to control the throttle and brake simultaneously
