This mod adds a new mechlink harvestable from fully grown anima trees.

This is NOT a retexture.
The anima mechlink is way weaker compared to the vanilla mechlink:

reduced bandwidth

reduced control groups

reduced mech repair speed

severely reduced mech gestation speed

reduced command range (when activated in [AV]Framework's settings)

can be self-installed like a normal mechlink

can not be reclaimed from dead pawns

can be removed (and also destroyed) with an operation using 2 glitterworld medicine

additional mechlink implants can't be installed by a mechanitor with an anima mechlink

apparel adding mechanitor stat (bandwidth, control groups etc.) will work

How do mechlinks and anima trees fit together?
The anima tree has a psychic presence and mechanoids have a psychic presence, while mechlinks require the mechanitor to not be psychicly dull.
Thats enough for me to connect the 3 of them.
The anima tree also gives a mood downside for chopping it while beeing a consistent but not overusable way of getting mechlinks, so it fit perfectly for me.
How do I get mechs and maintain/recharge them as a tribe?
I've made mods for that as well.

Don't get confused by the name, it evolved into acquiring mechs in general.
