The F4j Phantom II was a Naval variant of the F4e, traditionally the F4 sported an older mechanical radar. Adding on the F4J changes this with a post Doppler search and track radar, this radar could distinguish between chaff and plane and was able to filter out ground clutter. The main armament of the f4 was the Aim 7 which is a semi active radar homing missile or Sarh missile, the stormworks replica both contains the Aim 7 and the Aim 9 which is heat guided.

Missile Operation
- To fire an Aim7 the backseater must first lock the intended target and select "Aim7" on the rightmost console . After the pilot should position the nose of the aircraft to an optimal angle from the enemy, once you are sure of sustained lock the 3 key will subsequently fire the missile.
- Similarly to utilize the Aim9 the backseater must select "Aim 9" on the rightmost console. Next the pilot should prime the missile by pressing the 3 key, this should allow you to gimbal the missile seeker with your head, finally when you are certain you have sustained lock fire the missile
NOTE = The aim9 will not fire if there is not Sustained lock!!

Start Up
NOTE = The F4J phantom does not have the ability to start up by itself with infinite electricity off, so the start up process requires the use of the Md-3 naval start cart !!
First the Md-3 Naval start cart should be attached to electrical connected located under the left engine. Next the the backseater should turn on all the breakers located under the left most instrument panel. Now the pilot should flip the "Main Engine switch" and should press the "Engine On" switch, this should spool up the engine, Next the backseater should flip the aux to battery and then the Md-3 should be disconnected from the aircraft. Finally the F4 is ready to taxi and take off.
