MK41 modular VLS (Vertical Launch System) container (8 cells) WIP

DESCRIPTION: This is a modular MK41 VLS container with 8 2x2 cells for the multi-mode seeker 2x2 vertical launched anti-ship/land attack cruise missile with GPS midcourse/terminal guidance and optional active radar and laser guided terminal guidance modes. The missiles have a 2-way datalink (20km radio range) with a kinetic range of >100km at a speed of 1290 kph (mach 1). (uplink still WIP) The container and missiles can be shortened to fit your ship. CAPABILITIES: O modular O <1m accuracy for stationary targets and <7m accuracy for fast moving targets (consistent 5-6m behind COM of 106kph 14m foil boat). O GPS midcourse/terminal guidance with radar or laser guidance taking over when less than 1km from the intended target. O Terminal guidance can be locked to GPS using the ground station. O 1290 kph (mach 1) cruise speed at 50/150/300m cruise altitudes. (cruise altitudes need to be altered in the microcontroller under the radios at the top left logic blocks for now) O Flight range: >100km O Datalink range: 20km O When over the sawyer islands it will automatically increase its cruise altitude to 300m to avoid the mountains. It will automatically switch back to the selected cruise altitude when not over the sawyer islands anymore. The selected cruise altitude can be changed while over Sawyer islands but it wont be used untill clearing Sawyer islands. O Proximity fuze using the distance of the current guidance mode. When in gps mode it will use the distance from the distance sensor if it is below 80m for better fuzing of stationary ground targets. INSTRUCTIONS: INSTALLATION: 1. For the installation just copy-paste the container into the desired spot. 2. The container takes up 3x7 block decks (8 including the floor) totaling from top-deck to bottom to 25 blocks (6.25m) of used deck height. Perfect for modern warships with 1x4 angled sides. The top-deck has a 12x14 block (3mx3.5m) profile with the silo itself extending down in a 10x13 block (2.5mx3.25m) profile. 3. The only logic inputs needed per silo are the composite "targeting out" output below the radio array into the "Targeting in" in the bottom of the silo and the electric into the input of the charger in the bottom of the silo. 4. Now you will select the microcontroller in the bottom and set the slider on the number to tell it which module it is. 5. You've just installed your own mk41 VLS! USE: 1. Use the key besides the monitor to see the status of the missiles including ETA to target, speed (KPH) and current guidance mode. 2. Just press 1 to fire a single missile or hold to fire a barrage with 1.5 second interval. 3. Press 2 to lock the missiles in GPS terminal guidance mode 4. Watch as your target gets impacted with <1m accuracy for stationary targets or <7m accuracy for fast moving targets. DISCLAIMER: The groundstation needs some work and the data uplink for updated targeting isn't yet completely integrated. After finishing the cruise-missile and workstation/human interface, I will make an air defense missile. Can be used in posted creations but give credit where its due.
