Combat Skills Affect Cooldowns

Update 1.1 Completely rewritten and implemented as a patch, rather than rewriting the StatDefs. Mod should now be compatible with almost anything and even if it's not, just putting it later in your mod list should fix it. Is also now smaller than ever at only 42 lines of xml! Introduction Inspired by the mod Draw a Bead, this is a very lightweight xml mod that patches the ranged aiming time and ranged cooldown stats to be affected by shooting skill level, and the melee cooldown stat to be affected by the melee skill level. Pawns with very low combat skills will now attack somewhat slower, putting out less damage than in the vanilla game. Attack speed will increase with each skill level, reaching vanilla behaviour at level 8 and becoming [i] significantly [/i] more dangerous at level 20. For reference, 2 level 20 pawns with this mod will be putting out slightly more damage than 3 level 20 pawns in the vanilla game. Details [u] Effects are identical for aiming time, ranged cooldown, and melee cooldown. [/u] Pawns now start with 124% aim time/ranged cooldown/melee cooldown at level 0 in the associated skill. [b] - This translates to an attack speed of 81% or a 19% decrease. [/b] The cooldown/warmup time decreases by 3% for every skill level. Reaches 100% at level 8 [b] - The same as vanilla behaviour. [/b] At level 20 the cooldown/warmup time becomes 64% [b] - This translates to an attack speed of 156% or a 56% increase. [/b] See graphs above for more details of how skill level affects cooldowns and how that translates into attack speed. (Please note that ranged weapons that fire in bursts will see slightly less change in overall dps.) Offsets like the Trigger Happy trait will be applied before this effect. Meaning that in vanilla a Shooting 20 trigger happy pawn will have an aim time of 50%. With this mod, the same pawn will have an aim time of 32%. Will also stack multiplicatively with the ghoul adrenal heart, for a melee cooldown of 44% at 20 melee. That is terrifying. I would appreciate balancing feedback, I'm currently considering making shooting skill have a greater impact on reloading and smaller impact on aim time.
