Steamworld Uniforms

Warning: This mod now requires Vanilla Expanded Framework Description Steamworld Uniforms is a historically inspired mod that aims to add various uniform parts from the early industrial/Victorian era. Contents There is a total of ten jackets, two pieces of armour, nineteen caps, twelve helmets and four accessory items that can be tailored or forged after their representative research project is completed. All of these items may appear on various non-player pawns. In detail there are: • regular uniform jacket • guard uniform jacket • hussar jacket • infantry coat • greatcoat • cossack coat • parade jacket • formal uniform jacket • tropical uniform jacket • zouave jacket and cap • tall peaked cap • field cap • shako • askari cap • képi • alpine field cap • rifleman cap • tasselled side cap • alpine hat • formal fez • bersaglieri hat • bicorne • busby • bearskin • campaign hat • alpine beret • czapka • spiked helmet • plumed helmet • shako helmet • dragoon helmet • czapka helmet • grenadier helmet • pith helmet • sash belt • cuirass • shouldered bed roll* • epaulettes *accessory items can now be worn over jackets as intended. They can however be toggled in the mod options to be worn instead of jackets.(for 1.6 temporarily disabled) Updates See change notes Compatibility All of these items are tagged as “industrial military basic” so they may spawn on any industrial faction such as outlanders or pirates. Nobles from the Royalty DLC occasionally wear these uniforms as they satisfy needs for most noble ranks. Some uniform parts can be chosen as a requirement for combat specialists and leaders from the Ideology DLC. The spiked helmets supports the morbid style. With VFE – Settlers militias are very likely to wear képis and campaign hats. Képis and shako helmets support the authoritarian style and spiked helmets the shintaoist from VIE – Memes and structures. Combat Extended: I am not a CE user, so I cant tell if this mod, which just adds apparel, is compatible or not. If necessary you may be encouraged to make a patch yourself. Known Issues Items with random style variants do not spawn naturally in game, however they can be created or modified in development mode. This seems to be a vanilla bug I can’t do much about. Legal Textures and XML are created by me. RimWorld is developed by Ludeon Studios.
