1928 oceanic lll starts construction. 1929 oceanic lll is launched. 1931 oceanic lll sails on her maiden voyage. 1940 oceanic lll is now a troop ship for world war 2. 1946 oceanic lll is now a troop Cruise ship. 1947 oceanic lll is a passenger ship again. 1963 oceanic lll is now a cruise ship for the chandres line and is renamed to the ss italis. 1979 the ss italis is renamed to the ms oceana. 1984 the ms oceana is retired from service. 1985 the ms oceana is converted back into the oceanic lll. 1988 the oceanic lll is now a floating hotel. as of 2025 the oceanic lll remains as a floating hotel.
