This oil tanker was made in Norway in 1955. Off the coast of new jersey the liner Shalom struck her amid ships. The tanker was cut in 2 by the Shalom. the stern of the ship quickly sank, but the rest of the ship was still afloat. Although 24 people were rescued, 19 went down with the ship, may they rest in peace.
