UH-30 "Saw-Whet" Helicopter

Vehicle Description

The UH-30 is a light utility & attack helicopter. It can be a fairly capable attack helicopter when used appropriately, and it can also be used to ferry troops and light equipment around. It is both fast and nimble, as it utilizes a tilting rotor, giving it speed while still allowing the employment of it's weapons. Be warned, it will try to kill the pilot.

• Air frame is built to last and can stand up to heavy abuse.
  
• The air frame does lack heavy cockpit protection.
  
• Boasts over 4500L of fuel allowing for up to ~100km of flight range
  
• Maximum underslung load lift weight: 1000 stormworks magic mass
  
• max level cruising speed of 120knots (62 m/s)
  

Flight controls:

• boasts easily pilot to co-pilot transferable flight control's
  
• controls are smooth but responsive allowing a very aggressive piloting style
  

Power plant:

• Just a base medium engine
  
• Automatically adjusted proprietary tilt rotor system allowing for increased speed while still employing the weapon systems.
  
• High mounted engine air intake allowing for the aircraft to be nearly fully submerged in water.
  

Weapon systems:

• Fully configurable and customizable weapon pylons allows for the aircraft to engage in a variety of hostile environments.
  
• Pre installed pilot co-pilot controlled gimbal mounted machine guns

Known issues:

• prone to collective stalls
  
• easier to get gear stuck in ground
  
• Mater caution may go off abnormally
  
• The HUD explanatory image is not correct. Altitude is in FT not M
