A.L.W. D-B-B-01 Prototype Locomotive
This is the second locomotive installment from Ashcroft Locomotive Works. It's the first Diesel Electric locomotive in the line-up, designated D-B-B-01, and by far, the most advanced locomotive from this company.
It should be extremely simple to use.
[WARNING: THE CRASH AVOIDANCE SYSTEM IS ON AUTOMATICALLY AND WILL SENSE BUFFERS AND PLAYERS WALKING BEHIND IT, AND WILL REACT ACCORDINGLY. YOU MAY WALK IN FRONT OF ANY OF THE 3 FRONT SENSORS AND THE ENGINE WILL NOT RUN, THOUGH IT WILL WHEN NOTHING IS DETECTED IN FRONT OF IT AND IT'S STILL DETECTING THE BUFFERS]
Engine can run effectively at minimal throttle with no cargo, .5 for when connectors are engaged [let sit for a second if lowering to .5], .6 for haul switch, and .8 for turbo.
To start this locomotive, head into the cab, turn on the pumps & radiators switch, then hold the start button until the generator starts.
Be very careful with the wheel release toggle. That is for transporting the locomotive VIA air using the rope anchors. Trust me, you don't want to hit it while running.
Top unloaded speed is around 60-70 mp/h.
Max load is untested
Loaded speed varies on Hauling Mode and Turbo.
Mass: 4296.000977
Cost: $49566
[Note; Haul + Turbo need to be on for Turbo to function correctly.]
This locomotive is equipped with A.L.W. Automatic Weight Sensoring & Power Increase, A.L.W. Experimental Automatic Crash Avoidance, A.L.W. Rolling Stock Passthrough, A.L.W. Emergency Radio Brake, and A.L.W. Multi-Unit Systems.
If you come across any issues running this locomotive, please tell me.
[A.L.W. E.A.C.A. May Activate On Sharp Turns. It has priority control over throttle & brake, though may be disabled via the Manual Override switch. If you get distracted easily, I'd recommend keeping it on.]
