Built by the Cantieri Navali Vittoria in Adria, the 800-class vessels are unsinkable and self-righting. They are widely deployed to ensure Search and Rescue (SAR) operations throughout Italy and on the major lakes, as they can operate in particularly adverse weather and sea conditions.
Depending on the version, they range from 10.6 to 12.95 meters in length and are propelled by propellers or waterjets.
They are all built of aluminum and can reach speeds of over 16 knots with a range of approximately 30+ km.
They have a crew of three.
