In the face of threat on a distant planet, the Imperial Guard, loyal to the Emperor, is dispatched to conquer and subjugate this mysterious realm in the Emperor's Glory. The planet is inhabited by various factions, none of which recognize the authority of the Imperium.
The Adeptus Munitorum has decided this planet to be of significant value due to presence of ancient relics from both Astartes and Imperial Guard forces, The Death Korps of Krieg, 8th Cadian Regiment and Tempestus Scions have deployed a small force upon the planet, and could not send a proper invasion force due to a large scale orbital fleet lingering above. The Imperium relies on you, you are on your own down there.
