[b]Save your pawns from the horror of "Ate without table (-3)"![/b] Features [list] [*] Simple, Fine, and Lavish packed lunches [*] Lunches inherit original ingredients and rot progress [/list] Description A remake of RimRue/Rainbeau Flambe's packed lunch mod that lets you turn meals into packed lunches perfect for outdoor eating. [b]Difference between the original and this mod:[/b] [list] [*] The original mod turned all meals into the same "Packed Lunch," providing 0.9 nutrition and no mood benefits. This mod differentiates between Simple, Fine, and Lavish meals. [*] With the original mod, you could "meal wash," converting nearly rotten meals or those made from poor ingredients into new ones. This mod retains the rot progress and ingredients of the original meals. [*] While the original mod accepted any FoodMeals category, this mod only accepts vanilla meals as of now. A patch is needed to convert modded meals into Packed Lunches. [/list] Compatibility Currently, the mod doesn’t support modded meals, as I actually rather like the idea of using vanilla meals for lunches. However, I understand the need for compatibility in some cases (e.g., certain races that can only eat meals with specific ingredients), so I’ve made it very easy to patch modded meals. Feel free to ask me for patches for any meals you think should have Packed variants, and I’ll do my best to accommodate. I’ll also include a guide below on how to patch modded meals. Existing saves Installing into existing saves should be completely fine. However, if you uninstall while having packed lunches on your map, you'll receive a warning the first time you load the save. For Modders [b]Simple steps to create a patch:[/b] [list] [*] Patch the PLR_MakePackedLunch recipe's ingredients to accept the meal you want to convert into a lunch. [*] Create a new lunch that inherits from PLR_PackedMealBase and set its defName to PLR_Packed[source meal's defName]. For example, if the source meal's defName is VCE_MealGourmet, defName the new meal should be PLR_PackedVCE_MealGourmet. [*] Give the new lunch the original meal's <ingestible> properties to give it the same effects as the source meal. [/list] That’s it! The new lunch will inherit the source meal's ingredients and rot progress, and the bill will track and count the lunch appropriately based on the bill ingredients you set.
