A tribal would never throw out advanced armor.
Why not turn it into low tech armour?
Normal and nudist option.
Nudist armor has less parts and so less protection but also less reduction in speed.
Can be crafted at any colony tech level.
Can only be crafted by using an existing High tech armor as a crafting component.
Too often Cryptosleep caskets contain pawns with advanced armor that you "accidentally" taint or damaged.
Maybe even a raid by a higher tech faction or two.
No right minded Tribal would throw out such a valuable thing. But now you can benefit from your "find" of highly prised armour without it being wasted due to it being tainted and damaged.
