British Rail Railway Signals and Infrastructure Pack
This is a replacement for the default railway signals that replaces them with BR Style Signals
The Current Signals that are included are:
4 Aspect "Feather" Route Indicator
This is a Standard 4 Aspect signal that can display normal running aspects plus a diverging aspect (to the left). this is shown by the bar of white lights angled at 45° called the Feather. when the Feather is Illuminated, it indicated that the set of points it corresponds to, is set in the direction of the lights.
4+3 Aspect "Splitting Distants" Route Indicator
This is a set of two or more signals mounted on either a gantry or a pole, these have a standard 4 aspect signal controlling the "Main" Route capable of displaying any normal running aspects. To the side of this main signal is a secondary / Subsidiary signal. this is for controlling the spur line (to the left). The Route direction is indicated as the signal with the least restrictive aspect. this type of signal is also equiped with a Two white light positon light, that can display a "Call on Aspect". this allows a train to enter a partialy blocked section.
Yellow Disc / Yellow Position Light Shunt Signal
This signal is found in Shunting yards and depots. On the lower half of the signal, a white disc with a yellow horizontal stripe when the stripe is horizontal and the aperture shows a amber light it is "ON" and this means its set for the "Normal" route. when "OFF" it rotates 45° and the aperture shows a green light. on the top half of the signal is a Position Light similar to the "Call on" Light. when the signal is "ON" it will display two Amber lights arranged horizontaly. When this signal is "OFF" it will change to two white lights aranged at a 45° angle. and ontop of this light is an alphanumeric route indicator. when this signal is "OFF" it will display where its route leads to.
