For years, you lived under the watchful gaze of your father, a minor nobleman within the Shattered Empire. Raised to be his successor, you were disgusted by the cruelty and inhumanity you saw inflicted upon the slaves and servants of your house, and dreamed of changing things for the downtrodden. Then, one day, they rebelled, and burned your family estate to the ground. Your father was slain, with you and your loyal retainer barely getting to the drop pods in time to escape. With meager supplies, and without the walls of your estate to protect you, will you be able to survive long enough to make a better world?
