BR 222 – Diesel-Electric Locomotive
My attempt at a diesel-electric locomotive, inspired mostly by the [b]German DB BR 212[/b], with touches from various other engines.

[*] [b]Performance:[/b] Theoretical top speed: 260 km/h; freight-capped: 205 km/h (emphasis on torque)
[*] [b]Cab:[/b] Single driver’s cab with one control seat

Startup Procedure
[b]Back Panel:[/b]

[*] Enable all GSS, MSS, and DMR switches
[*] Ensure the Fuel Cutoff (bottom left) is disabled
[/list]
[b]Driver’s Panel:[/b]
[list]
[*] Flip the Engine Switch; wait until approx. 230 RPM
[/list]
[b]Back Panel (cont’d):[/b]
[list]
[*] Generator should idle at ~700 RPM (top left) and produce ~160 SWatts
[*] Set the peak signal lights according to direction
[/list]
[b]Driver’s Panel (cont’d):[/b]
[list]
[*] Enable HS (Main) and ZS (Powershare) switches (center console)
[*] Select drive position (right panel); flip Main Control Switch to On
[/list]
[b]Drive:[/b]

[*] Lower brake power to 0
[*] Increase motor power—start with ~5%
[/list]
Dual-Traction Setup

[*] Set brakes to [b]full[/b]
[*] Set direction selector to the [b]planned travel direction[/b]
[*] Ensure the [b]Main Control Switch[/b] is [u]disabled[/u]

[*] Drive toward the stationary locomotive slowly
[*] Connectors will [b]attach automatically[/b] when aligned
