Overview
The Talco Series 3 6x6 truck, designated as the M3 Light Logistical Vehicle, is a lightweight 4-tonne tactical truck developed in 1985. It was designed to replace the WW2-era trucks that were proving to be significantly outdated by the time. The truck proved to be a flexible chassis, with a number of variants produced over the course of its lifespan. The M3 was designed to carry 4000 kilogrammes of cargo and drive in excess of 100 kilometres per hour, with satisfactory offroading capabilities. As more specialized vehicles were entered into service, the line of vehicles was relegated to lower readiness and auxiliary roles, although it still remains a strong workhorse of the Nivalen Defence Force.
