Modernized MKII Patrol boat river
HISTORY
Used in Vietnam by Task Force 116 to search river traffic in the Mekong Delta, The PBR was built for use in shallow water. Using two Detroit Diesel 6V53N engines and Jacuzzi 14YJ water jets the PBR was capable of 30 knots. It could be armed with a multitude of different weapons, from grenade launchers to large caliber machine guns. The PBR was operated by a crew of 4.
