EPSILEPSY WARNING FOR THOSE WHO ARE SENSITIVE TO FLASHING LIGHTS, WHEN SINKING WILL CONTAIN FLASHING LIGHTS
THIS REQUIRES EITHER A MODDED WORKBENCH OR THE MISSION EDITOR TO LOAD IN THIS SHIP
THIS REQUIRES INFINITE FUEL CURRENTLY
Here is a week of my life.
Wouldn't have been possible without Echo's Bigger Workbench: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3357835209&searchtext=echo%27s
The Flickering lights are from this microcontroller; please show them some love: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2698463940

STORY
---------------------
First of the Newhaven-Class, The S.S Newhaven was planned as a passenger ship, meant to carry around 200 people across the seas.
(number of seats may vary)
Her keel was laid on August 6th, 1910.
She was to be finished around 1913, but due to the R.M.S Titanic disaster, changes had to be made which delayed her to 1914 instead. She was further delayed to 1915 when WW1 broke out, but eventually on February 2nd, 1915, she was launched from the docks and afloat. It took 4 months for the rest of the boilers and engine fittings to be set, and June 17th, 1915, she prepared for her maiden voyage. She took onboard 193 people, with 22 crew, 11 being stokers, and 170 passengers.
During this maiden voyage the screw-shaft spinning the propeller broke up, killing 1 crew member in its final moments. The aft compartment of the ship flooded, but the compartment was able to be contained, and the ship required a tugboat to tow her all the way to the nearest port.
Her engines and boilers were refitted 5 times, either overpowered, over pressured, or bound to break.
The ship, being the most modern of the Markus Shipping Line was beloved by the people who made her, with the name
Newhaven
for the new era that was to come.
Early on, the design for the interior wasn't so luxurious, but refits were planned that made her more luxury, and with less weight more speed.
The pool within was also added later on, being the main attraction of the ship.
2 incidents occurred where a lifeboat was ripped from the davit holding it in a fierce storm, and the ship listed to 20 degrees starboard before rolling back up right.
The ship indeed did have a habit of tending to roll to the other side seeming like it would never return upright.
The S.S Newhaven would be scrapped on August 1st, 1929, after a boiler exploded, causing extreme damage to the vessel, and being too costly to maintain.

How to Start
First, head down to the lower decks, and where there is the kitchen, there is a door called "Crew Area". Open that door, and you'll find two hatches on either side of the room. Go through either, then you'll be in the lower decks. Go towards the back in those lower decks, and you'll find the boiler room. Hold the "Steam Pressure UP" Button for 3 seconds, then do the same for the "Clutch Pressure UP" button.
(You can also change the speed and clutch up in the bridge)
Then, turn the "Firebox Spark" on for 2 seconds, then turn it off.
How to Sink
1. You will need the Stormworks:Search and Destroy DLC for optimal features.
2. Here is how to find the scuttles
For the first one, head into the "Primary Officers Cabin", and look to the right. You should find a key that says "Definitely not a "Scuttle" "
For the second one, head to the "Crew Dormitory" and under the table should be a key that says "Boiler Explosion", which is what it does. This one requires fully the Weapons DLC.
EDIT: Oh yes and if you're wondering why I used a JK Microcontroller, I just think of it as the seat maker company, Jerald King
