A trade ship passes by our Rimworld, bringing wares from a Midworld that was a lot similar to Earth, but turned to a Ruinworld after Nuclear war, setting back their technology. As they rebuilt from the ashes, Electronic music and instruments fell out of favor. They embraced a revival of swing, jazz, and postmodern jukebox, bringing these genres back into the spotlight.
