Make hidden floors where your people can sleep. Maximize your space. Because being able to harness electricity and make spaceships but not being able to make a second floor makes no sense!

Adds staircases leading to "fake floors" where colonists can sleep. Many pawns can sleep in the same floor, depending on the upgrades of the staircase.
By default, bedrooms will be of "dull" quality. You can add upgrades to make the rooms better, have ilumination, noise insulation, temperature control, better beds, and more. Upgrades will cost more the more pawns the virtual floor holds. Upgrades also cost space, which each staircase has a limited amount of.
You can assign people to the bedrooms just like you would assign a bed.
There are different types of floors and depending on their type the way they calculate available space changes:
Normal upstairs: Will count constructed roofs around itself to count the available space to use. Must be placed under constructed roof.
Basement: Will have a set maximum space, but the available space has to be expanded using a special mining operation. Pawns will have to mine around the staircase to expand it's floor space.
Mountain upstairs: Will count mountain overhead and rock roofs to count it's maximum available space, bute the usable space has to be expanded using a special mining operation like basements.
(Odyssey only) Gravship upstairs and downstairs: Will count gravship substructure around itself to have available space.

Hospitality: Staircases can be set to be used for guests. The current upgrades will be detected by hospitality as the simulated bedrooms, meaning better bedrooms will make guests happier and make them want to pay more for it.
Dubs Bad Hygiene: Staircases will have two upgrades for a simple and a complete bathroom. When installed and connected to the water grid, pawns will be able to use the bathroom automatically when they are in the virtual floor. Important: These bathrooms can not be used by pawns that are not currently sleeping in the staircase.
Odyssey: Special staircases added that use the gravship subsctructure to calculate the available space.

Sometimes pawns fail to walk to the staircase due to Rimworld hard to reproduce bugs with the pathfinding. In such case they will walk close to the bed and teleport to it. This may look a bit janky at times but it is otherwise harmless.
Sometimes pawn decide to change their choosen staircase in some random gameplay situations like when they become lovers, or a pawn grows up. I recommend monitoring the assignment to staircases in such situations.
The art of this mod sucks. Yes, that's the issue. I tried to make them as vanilla friendly as possible though. There is also no south facing staircases.
Technically, pawns are sharing a bed when they sleep in the floors. I have patched the pawns moods and limitations so they don't mind, but some mods may have some unintended moods or mechanics that have to do with sharing a bed. If you find something that doesn't make sense, please report it here so I can patch it.
Pawns will not be assigned to the floors automatically after the first one per staircase. Please make sure you assign people to them manually.
