Being a two-seated tank, it features a dual-mode fire control interface linked between gunner and commander by a simple switch. Due to the limited interior space, the commander also assumes driving duties. Thanks to the linked fire control, the tank can be operated by a two-man crew or even solely by the commander.
The turret is shaped for maximum all-round protection, with a minimum of four armor layers in every direction. All vital microcontrollers are located within the crew compartment for instant access and rapid repair in battlefield conditions.
The front hull integrates fuel tanks whose geometry adds to the overall armor layering, while the side hull and skirts are subdivided internally to reduce penetration when being shot frontally from an angle.
