M/V Executix

EPSILEPSY WARNING FOR THOSE WHO ARE SENSITIVE TO FLASHING LIGHTS, WHEN SINKING WILL CONTAIN FLASHING LIGHTS The Flickering lights are from this microcontroller; please show them some love: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2698463940 STORY Second of the Newhaven-Class and sistership of Newhaven, The M/V Executix made by Markus Shipping Line was planned on May 1st, 1918 to be one of the first passenger ships available after the WW1 to capitalize on the upcoming travels that were to come from people fleeing the continent and taking refuge in other areas of the world. Construction began on the 16th of August, 1918 with a slow build rate due to the war still ongoing, but on November 11th, 1918, the speed would ramp up seeing resources and money were being sent to the Entente countries, including Great Britain. The Boilers were instead replaced with a Diesel tank to supply the engine, instead of steam coming from coal to see what efficiencies could be gained on her. on 1921, the second of April, the ship was launched into the River Thames, and construction began on the main fitting. On September 9th, 1921, she was ready for service. Designed to carry 212 people (seats may vary), on her first day of service she had on board 152 passengers and 15 crew, 167 total. Her first trip was from London to Le Havre, then to Bournemouth, then The Hague, and then sailing across the Atlantic to New York. She encountered some bad weather, even ripping off an anchor, but she pulled through and docked at New York. Her engines were bad first round, but through some more overhauls it got her to 15 knots, instead of the sluggish 10. On her second year of service, heading from New York to Dublin, there was a thick fog on the way there, but then the ship vanished. An extensive search was made through the passageways that ships usually use to cross the Atlantic, but then after 2 months of search, a 72 degree listing ship rusting away was spotted somewhere near Newfoundland, and upon closer inspection was seen to be the M/V Executix. All passengers and crew were recorded lost, with no sign of them. 9 lifeboats were missing, with one on deck completely smashed. Upon closer inspection 4 of the 5 lower compartments were flooded, and the stabilizer completely to one side. There was still 8920 Liters of fuel left, and the search party decided to suction the fuel out of the diesel tank, seeing that the Executix was good as lost. For a scrapping effort, 2 tugboats were to tow her to Halifax, but more stormy seas came, and the towline broke, and the Executix was never seen again. An Inquiry was held, but no signs of mischevious, or malicious behavior, and there were only 2 ships trekking the Atlantic, one of them being the Executix. On December 29th, 1923, the ship Executix was declared lost. DO NOT REPUBLISH WITHOUT FORMAL PERMISSION AND CREDITING.
