Description
This mod allows you to copy and paste any area of your colony, including items, buildings, and terrain. It's like a copy-paste tool that lets you duplicate parts of your base or create templates for repeated structures.
Warning:
This mod does the same as God Mode - it instantly creates copies of things without requiring resources or work.
Features
[b]Selective Copying[/b]
Right-click on the Create designator to toggle what you want to copy:
• Copy items - Toggle copying of items and resources
• Copy buildings - Toggle copying of buildings and structures
• Copy tiles - Toggle copying of floor tiles and terrain
These settings affect both copying and pasting - if you disable copying buildings, they won't be pasted either.
[b]Create Copyprint[/b]
Use the `Create` designator to drag over an area with Things you want to copy. Things will be copied based on your toggle settings.
[i]NOTE:[/i] Pawns (humanlike or animal), filth (trash, blood, dirt) can't be copied.
[b]Paste Copyprint[/b]
Once you've created a copyprint, you can use the new button to place copies of that copyprint anywhere.
• Copyprints can be rotated using the rotation buttons or keyboard shortcuts
• Only things enabled in your toggle settings will be pasted
• Existing objects in the paste area will be removed (except pawns) based on your toggle settings
[b]Save and Load[/b]
• Right-click on a copyprint to rename or save it
• Saved copyprints can be loaded later using the Create designator's right-click menu
[b]Where to Use[/b]
• Clone item storage areas with their contents
• Create template rooms and paste them multiple times
• Make a large fertile soil area for farming
• Build symmetrical structures by copying and rotating
• Create decorative patterns and repeat them
• Build identical production facilities
• Plant identical garden or forest layouts
