I love the charge lance, but as of now, it's beat by the other weapons in vanilla in almost every situation. This simple mod gives an AP buff to the charge lance so that it can fit better into the niche of an armor piercer.
Modded Charge Lance starts to beat Charge Rifle at about 110% armor, according to my rimworld combat simulation DPS calculator program (images 2-4). A good quality lance should have higher dps against 110 armor than even excellent charge rifle.
Note: careful of mechanoid lancers
