Lore About the Locomotive: In 1936, the Stormworks Railways ran into a problem. Their A class Pacific engine while good was slow compared to the New York Central's Streamlined Hudson and The Pennsylvania Railroad's GG-1, so the Stormworks Railways came up with solution, increase the power of a A Class and Streamline it. The B class Pacific was rolled out of Baldwin's Eddystone shops on July 1st, 1939. The B Class would be put to work running the Alantic Express from Boston, Massachusetts to Charlotte, North Carolina until May 12th 1956, when the B Class was pulled from service. Out of 56 B class locomotives, only 8 would survive to preservation.
