In 1967 the soviets revealed their new "fighter" that scared the ♥♥♥♥ out of the Americans. it could go mach 3, and was allegedly a fighter. which lead the U.S to create the F-15. in 1976 a MiG-25 pilot defected to japan and it turns out the MiG-25 was made to intercept planes like the Sr-71 and Xb-70. It could actually get up to mach 3 but it would turn its engines to ♥♥♥♥ like the Me 262 flying for 12 hours.
