After the VFE-S 2.0 update, I don't have many complaints left. Great job, VE team.
All this mod does now is a few balance tweaks along with adding 4 more concealed turrets. (More balance changes may come later as I have a chance to play more with the mod.)

Flamer turret:
- Hitpoints 120 -> 150
- Min distance to ignite 2 -> 3
- Range 16.9 -> 13.9
Searchlight:
- Effect range 3.9 -> 6.9
- Debuff strength 75% -> 40%
Charge turret:
- Hitpoints 200 -> 250
Artillery:
- Barrel build cost 0 -> 2
- Uses per barrel 20 -> 10
Charge Railgun:
- Projectile speed 120 -> 200
- Accuracy touch 22% -> 26%
- Accuracy short 36% -> 42%
- Accuracy medium 68% -> 72%
Armored Turret:
- Cooldown 4.8s -> 5.2s
Shotgun Turret:
- Range 15.9 -> 13.9
Dugout:
- No longer needs any research

Q: CE Compatible?
A: No If you want a patch, ask the CE team.
Q: I don't like the new turrets can I remove them?
A: Disable it with cherry picker or delete the def files.
Q: This sounds op! muh balance!
A: I tried my best to keep things balanced while also keeping things fun. If you think something is off, let me know!
Q: Save game compatible?
A: Should be safe to add if you want to remove it then remove all structures this mod adds.
Q: Does the 1.5 version still work?
A: It should but its getting no new changes.
