Straight forward mod. All of the masks from the core game and DLCs can be made to be worn alongside hats/helmets. Rejoice, for your stat modifiers can be many!

This mod does NOT add Layers, change Layers, or make incompatible changes to how pawns process equipping clothing. It is laser focused to cause as little interference with other mods as possible.
It DOES make the various mask items only armor the pawn's face (ie. not the "head"), and the gun link only the eyes.
This mod is a separate version from my previous gas mask mod because this change in behavior is a qualitative difference for the player. A Mod Options menu has now been implemented to decide which masks should be altered.
This mod makes a tiny change to how bodyPartGroups are defined, so that the Brain organ is no longer considered part of the Eyes group. This should be an invisible and unfelt change to combat, but which makes all clothing from every mod more cross-compatible. Helmets and hats no longer interfere with anything that covers the eyes on the same Layer. This mod additionally defines the [i]conspicuously absent[/i] Face bodyPartGroup, to which masks are redefined.

Using this with CE should cause no problems. They have their own layer they move various masks to; it would in theory allow the gas mask to be worn with any other Strapped-Head item that covers only the UpperHead.

Wearing multiple head apparel items was not intended, as such the default sprite art does not account for the possibility. While most combinations function, I cannot be held responsible for nasty visuals that come from warmasks being worn with cowboy hats or any such silliness. Items on the same layer will render in the order they are equipped, though Mod Options are provided to force particular items to be drawn below/above helmets.
