This mod were inspired by Zlevel concept old mod by RamRod, and also one of reason i made the "Dimensional Storage Virtual" Mod.
As item were offworld it should be easier to play across multiple map.
Best used with Dimensional Storage Virtual (load this mod after it for compatibility).
You can still use this mod as standalone.
FEATURES:
• Upper floors and underground levels per map tile. Build stairs (up/down) to move pawns between levels; stairs can be built with wood, stone, or metal.
• Power relay : link power nets between Z-levels or between the main map and a pocket dimension. Allowing you to linke the power source between level.
• Dimensional portal : creates and links a parallel pocket-dimension map. You can choose any biome and map size for this Dimension.
• Pawns and jobs work across main map and pocket dimension via the portal (same behaviour as upper/underground with stairs). Main map is prioritised for job lookups when a pawn is in the dimension.
• All event should only trigger on Main map, except infestation on basement level.
* Owned Animal could also move between map, beware this could make the game heavy if you not lock you hundred cows to spesific area, better just keep it for your pet.
• Underground: cavern-style generation with tunnels, cave plants (e.g. mushrooms), and cavern animals.
(thinking for a patch with other biome maod later so your underground level is filled with more thigns. If you had idea which biome mod, put on comment bellow. Maybe if we had multiple i could make it so each time basement created it will random what biome it made making your underground level had different theme.)
• Upper floors: tiles above roofed structures (pillars, walls) on the layer below are buildable. Pawns can haul between layers via stairs.
• Colony wealth should count across map so it trigger correct raid level.
• Guest and trader could move across map level to coming to your location, i honestly suggest to use trader spot mod etc and make them stay on your main map.
• Mod options on limit of upper floor and down floor created (Default is set on 1 each.)
INCOMPATIBILITIES / WARNINGS:
• Mods that heavily patch float menus (FloatMenuMakerMap, FloatMenuOptionProvider, ChoicesAtFor) may conflict with Z-level context menu options (rescue/capture/arrest across levels, consume from other level).
• Mods that patch storage or hauling (StoreUtility, ListerHaulables, WorkGiver_Haul) can cause errors; this mod patches those for multi-map haul destinations.
• Mods that replace or heavily alter pathfinding or map generation may behave oddly with Z-levels.
• Other mods that add their own vertical/multi-map systems might overlap or conflict.
