a fictional GALLOW class submarine mostly based on the american sub USS-THRESHER (wwii not cold war)
this submarine has a dive time of anywhere from 2 minutes to go under to 6 minutes depending on speed.
max speed 25 knots with both diesel and electric propulsion, 20 with diesel only, 13 with electric.
2 5 cylinder diesel engines located in rear of ship.
2 medium electric motors.
has the turning radius of a hyper-sonic missile
WEAPONS
6 torpedoes for 2 tubes. semi-auto reload (you must attach rope and open tube for loading)
1 cannon, 30-35 rounds
armory located in central control room.
ROOMS
torpedo room, front of vessel.
crew cabin, located directly before torpedo room.
main control room, center of vessel, if entering through superstructure, this is the room you will find when entering pressure hull.
commons space, behind main control room.
engine room/ escape hatches, behind commons space, rear of vessel. this room also includes access hatches to the diesel tank, this is labeled, do not open unless tank is damaged. escape hatches double as equipment storage.
medical suite, below main control room.
main helm, superstructure, above main control room.
secondary helm, main control room.
ammo box (cannon), hatch in rear of superstructure, interior access.
