"This mod is coming along nicely, I will finish it up soon and release it!" - Hei, August 17th, 2024
While going through my backlog of unreleased stuff I found this and decided to fix it up for release, this is an expansion of *general* ideas of the people of the Steppe, While it is mostly Mongol based, this mod focuses more on the feelings and vibes; So while I do try, I claim no historical accuracy. (Calling it Steppe instead of Mongol is a cop out so I can do what I want)
------
The balance might be a bit strong, the playthrough I made this mod for, I was moving maps every couple of days, so Airag might brew a bit too fast, Yurts may be strong for a "permanent" Base, ect. Ill tweak balance around but keep in mind the mod is designed around Nomadic play.
------
Currently it adds:
A yurt, which functions as a tent for sleeping outside, it can also house many people.
Airag, Alcohol fermented from milk, this is balanced around a nomad playstyle so it boosts healing rates, to help combat dirt and infections that are common without clean hospitals.
Khukhuur, the container which milk is added to brew Airag
A saber, two versions and a backstory specific one
A helmet, with 3 variations
A Lamellar undercoat
Backstories, a custom starting scenario that makes use of the backstories and culture, I.E mongol style names.
Currently that's it, I'd strongly recommend you use it in conjunction with other mods such as Tasty Armory - Steppe Warriors , as this is much lighter and less filled out then something like my Edo themed Expansion.
CE is NOT supported currently.
