RNLI B-Class Atlantic 85 Lifeboat with Launch Vehicle
The B class Atlantic 85 is an 8.5 meter long RIB that is designed and build by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI). It entered service in 2005 and is the fastest sea going boat in the fleet at 35 knots (40 mph). It has a crew of 3-4 and has a survivor capacity of 20 people. This Lifeboat is based on the Toby Rundle (B-872) which is currently in service at Clovelly, North Devon.
Clovelly Lifeboat Station uses a Talus MB-H and a 'DODO' trailer to launch the lifeboat and comes with the lifeboat in this model.
START UP:
Boat:
-turn the boat electrical power on under the helm's seat on the left side
-press both 'start eng' buttons on the right side of the helm's console
-the clutch is engaged automatically above 10% throttle for both forward and reverse
Talus:
-Put the throttle up to 1
-press the 'engine starter' button
-use the 'W' key to go forward
-to change direction press the 'direction change' button, the chair will spin around
