Dodge M43 4x4 Ambulance
This is my representation of the Dodge M43 4x4 military ambulance. The M43 is a variant of the Dodge M37 ¾-ton cargo truck, which was originally designed to replace the WWII-era Dodge WC-series ¾-ton trucks. Compared to the M37, the M43 ambulance featured a 14-inch longer wheelbase, steel ambulance body, and connected driver/litter compartment. The vehicle had two major production runs, with the M43 being produced from 1951-1954, and the slightly modified M43B1 from 1959-1968.
For this project, I tried to follow a similar design ethos to my M35 2½-ton truck, where I replicate the external appearance, scale, and proportions of the real vehicle as closely as possible while simplifying its handling characteristics (read: idiot-proof). This thing was quite the pain to make, but I’m happy with how it turned out, so hopefully you guys like this!

- Spare wheel (nonfunctional, but surprisingly tasty)
- Roof-mounted spotlight (for blinding unsuspecting pedestrians)
- Folding step (vertically challenged people approved)
- Siren (for being a menace on MP)

*On paper, the fuel capacity should be 187.5L, but the Space DLC / pressure update made things weird. As a result, the vehicle only has ~105L of fuel when spawned in.
