Dodge M37 Gun Truck
This is my representation of a Dodge M37 gun truck. Although often overshadowed by the larger M35 and M39-series cargo trucks, M37 ¾-ton trucks were also frequently converted to gun trucks during the Vietnam War. Gun trucks were used to protect American supply convoys from VC and NVA ambushes during their runs between coastal ports and inland bases. Although small and agile, the M37s typically carried minimal armor and light weaponry, inhibiting their effectiveness. Instead, they tended to be used as control vehicles, staying with the convoy while the larger, heavier gun trucks moved out to engage attackers.
As with my previous M35 project, I allowed myself a bit more freedom when creating these M37 gun trucks. While they are heavily based on real examples, the names, features, and armament of these vehicles is fictitious. This particular gun truck features 2 M60 7.62mm machine guns, with both weapons being linked to a single control handle. Also, why are the trees speaking Vietnamese?

*On paper, the fuel capacity should be 156.25L, but the Space DLC / pressure update made things weird. As a result, the vehicle only has ~93L of fuel when spawned in.
