You go take a shower after eating some boomrat pizza and drinking a hella lot of beer, trying to lighten your mood from the nasty malaria you contracted, but as you start to exit the decontamination shower in your spaceship, the ship's AI does some emergency maneuvers to dodge an incoming meteor, making you slip and hit your toe in the corner of a table. As you stumble in pain, trying to regain some stability, you fall inside the inconveniently placed escape pod. Trying to hold on something, you accidentally press the eject button, throwing you into a random rimworld.
You're blind drunk, very sick and naked.
On top of all this, you see your ship get shot by some kind of anti-spaceship defense, you can only shed a tear as everything you had goes up in flames, peices of your ship fall around the area.
