LHA-6 USS America Bow Section (Part Number 1)
This is the Stern section of the 1:1 scale LHA-6 USS America.
You will need to use the spawner to get it in game and also a large (Modified workbench) mine is 200M L/W/H.
Currently working to get the decks in and the machinery where its supposed to be.
The most current iteration changed the bow, uses WAY LESS bricks though it doesn't look as good, it preforms MUCH better in game. Added Generator rooms in the correct location. Each section will eventually have its own ability to produce power, makes it easier if each section is more or less independent.
Currently installed:
Correct Flight deck, with lowering nets (rails) marking lines and lighting.
(There is one area where I use alternating white and yellow stripes vice alternating white and red, I haven't decided if I am going to correct that or not.)
Weapons are correct, in that there is a CIWS, a Sea Sparrow Box Launcher, and a SEA RAM launcher, currently nothing is connected, so they are not directed weapons. And SEA RAM launcher uses rockets due to the size, and will likely not in fact interdict a missile incoming to the ship.
Radar locations are correct.
Major hull doors are correct
Elevator is correct, size is not available in what I could find, but its very close in location and size based on extrapolations from photos and reference objects.
Decks: The correct number of decks are in place. The hanger has two high hat locations just like USS America does, they are generic since I cannot locate dimensions online, and layout will be creative license.
The Decks will generally contain what they are supposed to from what I can find from available documentation, but the layout of them is entirely my fabrication.
connectivity between the same deck fore and aft are truncated between sections because of requiring three sections due to STORMWORKS length of build limitations. Each section is connected with doors however they do not in any way reflect reality of the ship, the hanger deck is also truncated into sections when they would normally be connected.
