North American B-45 Tornado
Overview
The B-45 Tornado is a jet-powered strategic bomber of the United States Air Force. I tried my best to recreate it as best as I could in the game, and it is probably my most detailed build yet. This recreation has a large bomb bay, working ejection seats, and (somewhat) realistic crew positions. It can be crewed by 1-4 players.

B-45 LORE
The Tornado was the first jet bomber to enter service in the USAF. It was one of four jet bomber designs proposed after World War II, this group being nicknamed the "class of '45." Two of these designs, the B-45 and B-47, would enter service, while the B-46 and B-48 never got past prototype development. The prototype of the B-45, the XB-45, flew for the first time in March 1947, but issues with development delayed the introduction of the aircraft to mid 1948. A total of 142 B-45s were built. The B-45 would serve in the Korean War as both a bomber and reconnaissance aircraft, though issues with the engines among other things did curtail performance. In 1951 40 B-45As were modified to carry nuclear weapons as a deterrence against a Soviet attack, and these nuclear-capable aircraft would serve until 1958. In mid 1951, four RB-45C aircraft were leased to Britain and were repainted in RAF markings. These aircraft would perform dangerous reconnaissance missions over the Soviet Union until 1954. Towards the end of the 1950s the B-45 was slowly phased out by the more capable B-47 Stratojet, and in 1959 the Tornado was retired.
Operation
Starting and Takeoff

Enter the aircraft through the hatch on the side. If the ladder does not work, use the handle to climb in.

Once all crewmembers are in the aircraft get in the pilot seat. Turn on any lights you want to use.

Flip all of the engine ignition and fuel pump switches on the left.

-OPTIONAL: If taxiing, turn off the brakes and use ~10-20% throttle

When taking off, I recommend using ~50% throttle. Once you are in the air you can increase to 100%.

The aircraft has similar flight controls to any other.

Weapons Operation
Bombs:

Bombs can be dropped by the pilot, copilot, and navigator/bombardier.
-For pilot/copilot, the arrow-shaped button will arm the bombs, and hotkey 5 is to drop them.
-For bombardier, the bombs are armed via a button. Spacebar will drop the bombs once armed. There is a bombsight but it is rather inaccurate especially for targets high above sea level.

The bombardier can take control of the aircraft's flight controls at any time by pressing a button or hotkey 2. This is to aid in aiming the bombs.

Tail Turret

The tail gunner enters the aircraft through a ramp on the bottom of the fuselage. Climb the ladder to get in.

The tail gun is controlled by the seat in the tail section. Getting in the seat will move it into position.

The tail gun is controlled by the camera. Space to fire. Each gun has 400 Rounds.

Ditching the Aircraft
This plane has realistic ditching procedures that are somewhat accurate to the real B-45.

Final Remarks
Thanks for checking out this build. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed building it! If you have any questions/comments/concerns feel free to voice them in the comments and I will likely have a look. If you find any issues or glitches and want to report them in the comments please do so and try to detail how the issue can be replicated.
