The Whizzing Arrow II from Oban Star-Racers
Special thanks to ProfNCognito for his Jump Jet Tutorial Engines [WIP] [Free To Use] in the workshop. That and a bit of tinkering and we have semi stable flight.
When you're getting in from the hatch on the front crouch when you grab the handle and spin around and you'll hop right in!
After turning on the engines and taxiing to wherever you want to take off from, set the throttle to 20 and enjoy!
To speed up the jet engines spinning up there is an ignition booster by your right foot when sitting in the cockpit.
Occasionally likes to do a summersault for no reason but otherwise a fairly stable aircraft. just toggle the gyros a few times till it figures itself out (usually happens when all three forms of forward thrust are engaged).
Both the afterburners (the throttle not button) and turbine thrust engaged at max give it the most stable flight. Afterburners pull up, turbine pushes down by themselves - together they cancel out.
Vtol take off and landing
Afterburner/Jet Turbine Combination Forward thrust - throttle on the left controlls afterburners primary thrust. Hotkey 4 start and stop the jet turbine propulsion. Also a button to put some extra BURN in those afterBURNers.
This has been an incredible project that I am sure I will continue tinkering but for now let me know if there are any improvements, questions, or bugs you might find or have!!
