Odonata Class Corvette Warship

Basic Description
The following creation is too big to be spawned in via the workbench and requires the search and destroy DLC to work properly. You can use the addon editor or make use of the[url=https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3369735235] bigger workbench mod [/url]to spawn it in. It is optimised enough to allow for a limited interior for some play factor. Infinite fuel and electricity are not required. Unfortunately, it is not capable of operating in multiplayer servers, but it is possible with smaller multiplayer lobbies. It is not advised to be used in career mode. Old, deprecated radars are used.
The Odonata class corvette is named after predatory insects, including Dragonflies and Damselflies, and the names of the ships (Hull numbers 30 - 33) are inspired by them. The corvette is designed for low-crew operations by combining the machinery control room and combat information center into the bridge. The mission set includes Patrolling, Surface Warfare, and Anti-submarine warfare in littoral waters. The ship has facilities to accommodate a light helicopter via the flight deck and a RHIB via the well dock. UNREP is also possible via the fuel bunkering station on the flight deck. There are welding torches and fire hoses located throughout the ship, and bilge pumps activate automatically, allowing for limited damage control capabilities. It is not very survivable, only being rated for 2 compartment flooding before it severely affects the ship's mobility. The ship is particularly susceptible to torpedoes and sea-skimming missiles.

Sensors and Countermeasures

[*] ADSM1 Radar set
Provides 360 protection for the ship using its missiles (if available) up to 3km away. Also connected to the main gun, allowing the gun to aim at the marked target if it's within the firing arc.
[*] TWS Radar Set
Used to provide radar information and a data link to outgoing missiles. Detects targets up to 8km away. if facing trouble with locking, clear the screen and try again. For more information, refer to the actual creation in the link below.
[*] VLS 7 Sonar Set
Uses active or passive search to look for any underwater target up to 5km away. Select the target on the screen and its coordinates will appear. This is used to guide the ship's torpedoes.
[*] 16x Chaff
Activated once a radar pulse is detected, chaff is used to disrupt radar-guided missiles. it will not protect the ship consistently against different types of munitions
[*] 6x "Jellyfish" Sono Decoy
Floating Sono Decoys launched from the deck of the ship to distract incoming torpedoes. Will self-destruct after 3 minutes.
[*] Towed Sono Decoy (150m)
A last-ditch effort to shake torpedoes, this sono decoy is towed 150 meters behind the ship operating near or at the surface. Simply hit the button to activate it.

Armaments

[*] 1x Heavy Auto cannon (CWIS2M2)
Controlled via the radar wpn sys operator's seat (WASD), looking at the FCR display, alternatively select the target on the ADS3M1 display and select "ADS 3 Rdr to Gun". Space bar to shoot once the target is locked and within 2800m. 20 rounds in the ready magazine, 500 rounds in the magazine. 1000 rounds reserve.
[*] 2x Light Auto cannon (CIWS Mk.15 Phalanx (Block 0))
The switch is located left of the display in the ASW/Countermeasures operator's seat. Push and its active. Primarily set for helicopters or small craft, it will not protect you against missiles. Be advised, if intending to conduct operations near the ship, it is best to disable the guns.
[*] 8x ADS 3 (ADS3M1)
Point defense missiles for any incoming targets toward the ship up to 1000m. Controls are located at the radar wpn sys operator's seat. On your left on the control panel, turn the key, and it is active. Please refer to the seat for additional controls.
[*] 12x AIM120C Anti-air Missile
Controlled via the radar wpn sys operator's seat. Missiles take GPS information from the TWS radar set, with target information displayed to the right of the screen. Maximum range 8km. Once the target is acquired, press the button "Aim 120 Launch Safety" and hit 5 once that hatch is open.
[*] 4x AGM 84 Anti-ship Missile
Controlled via the radar wpn sys operator's seat. Missiles take GPS information from the TWS radar set, with target information displayed to the right of the screen. Maximum range 8km. Once the target is acquired, press the button "AGM84 Launch safety" and hit the push button "Fire AGM 84" once the door is open.
[*] 2x Torpedoes (MWS-B/UUM-2B Curveball GPS/EPN Guided Torpedo)
Controlled via the ASW/Countermeasures seat. Select the point on the sonar map screen, coordinates is displayed. Press 4 "Torpedo Launch Safety" and hit the toggle button next to the coordinates display. Be advised, coordinates too close to the ship will put the ship at risk.

User Considerations

[*] Ship does not operate well with waves over 4 meters
[*] AIM120/AGM84 Operates using the TWS radar set; therefore, you can only target one target at a time.
[*] It is fully capable of shooting itself
[*] During ASW, if fired upon by torpedoes, turn the ship away immediately and deploy countermeasures. After which change heading.
