High Tech Helmets Give Tox Gas Resistance
I haven't played without a ton of mods in a long time and learned the hard way when wasters came to raid that things like recon helmets do not give tox gas resistance in the base game. This seems kind of strange, especially with marine and cataphract helmets where they are clearly meant for hostile environments.
High tech helmets now add tox gas resistance:
Recon helmets.
Marine helmets.
Cataphract helmets.
And their mechanitor equivalents.
